"Red Bull" team leader Max Verstappen had a perfect weekend at the 2025 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Idman.biz reports that the Dutch driver completed the "Grand Slam" race in Baku - took pole position in qualifying, led every lap, won the race and set the fastest lap.
With this, Verstappen took his sixth "Grand Slam", won pole position in the qualifying round, led in all laps of the race, won and showed the best lap result.
This achievement is Verstappen's 6th "Grand Slam" in his career. He has achieved this feat every season since 2021, and twice in 2023.
Verstappen surpassed Michael Schumacher (5) in the "Grand Slam" race and equaled Lewis Hamilton. Briton Jim Clark remains the absolute record holder with eight "Grand Slams".
