Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has stated that he would like to test the "Ferrari" SF-26 in dry weather conditions in Barcelona.
Idman.Biz reports that he spoke about this after the tests held in rainy weather conditions on Tuesday.
"I hope I can test the car on a dry track, understand its balance and learn the new "Straight-Line Mode" (the mode used on a straight line). I haven't driven it on a dry track yet, so I don't have a full picture. Rainy conditions only allowed me to understand the front end. At the same time, it is important to learn the power distribution - efficient use and recharging of the battery will be really crucial. We have done a lot of great work. Everyone has worked hard in the simulator, so this is not entirely new. But we still have to conduct test sessions, analyze the data and optimize everything," Hamilton said in a statement.
