Lewis Hamilton has become the highest-paid driver in Formula 1.
Idman.biz reports that, according to calculations by Forbes, he has surpassed Max Verstappen.
It has been revealed that the British driver earned 80 million euros in one year. 60 million of this income came from a contract with Ferrari, and the rest came from advertising collaborations with Dior and Electronic Arts.
Hamilton generally holds the title of the highest-paid driver in all car races. He ranks 22nd among all athletes.
It should be noted that 4-time world champion Max Verstappen took 2nd place with an income of 78 million. The Dutchman earned 72 million from Red Bull and 6 million from advertising contracts with Heineken and Ford.
