British driver Lando Norris of the "McLaren" team has won his first "Formula 1" world championship. Sport24.az reports that Lando Norris finished third in the final stage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver for the "Red Bull" team, who won the championship for the previous four seasons, finished the race first. Norris' teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri, finished second.
As a result, Norris scored 423 points in the championship. Verstappen is second in the overall standings (421 points), and Piastri is third (410).
