McLaren driver Lando Norris talked about his fight for the title with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.
Idman.Biz reports that Norris is first in the Formula 1 drivers' standings with 357 points.
His teammate Oscar Piastri has 356 points. Verstappen, who is in third place, has scored 321 points.
"People can say what they want, everyone has the right to do so. But I don't agree that the "papaya rules" will hinder us. I don't think the team strategy has hindered us during the season. Of course, people will say otherwise. People like to create arguments.
We have improved a lot as a team this year because we have two drivers who perform well. That's why we have already won the Constructors' Championship. Red Bull is fighting for the championship, but they don't have a second driver to support Max Verstappen. We are performing well as a team. And we will continue to compete at the championship level," said Norris.
