British "McLaren" driver Lando Norris has been fined by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) for swearing during a post-race interview at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
According to Idman.Biz, Norris was fined $59,000.
Norris used the offensive language while describing losing out to "Red Bull" driver Max Verstappen on the first corner during the post-race interview.
Although Norris finished second in the race, he was disqualified due to excessive wear on the skid plank. Verstappen won, with "Mercedes" driver George Russell taking second after Norris's disqualification, and teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli taking third.
