Adrian Newey, head of the "Aston Martin" team, has chosen Jonathan Wheatley as his replacement as head of the "Audi" team.

According to available information, Jonathan Wheatley is inclined to accept Aston Martin's offer, although the contract has not yet been formalized. The terms of his 'gardening leave' have not yet been clarified either. However, Aston Martin expects Wheatley to start working with the team as soon as possible.
Wheatley previously worked as sports director of the "Red Bull" team from 2006 to 2024.
