Formula 1 champion Jenson Button has decided to end his career.
Report, citing the official race website, reports that the 45-year-old pilot noted that the 8-hour tournament in Bahrain will be the last in his professional career.
He emphasized that he will not compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) from next season.
It should be noted that J. Button made his Formula 1 debut in 2000 as part of the Williams team. The British driver became world champion with the Braun GP team in 2009. After leaving Formula 1 in 2016, the pilot later competed in various categories.
