James Vowles, head of the "Williams" "Formula 1" team, will participate in the 12-hour race to be held at the "Yas Marina" track in Abu Dhabi on October 14.
Idman.Biz reports that Vowles will drive the "McLaren 720S GT3 Evo" as part of the "Garage 59" team.
The team will also include Swedish Alexander West, Italian Marco Pulcini and British pilot Mark Sansom.
"The opportunity to put on a racing helmet again really excites me. "Garage 59" is a team I know well from our 2022 campaign, and the 12-hour race is a fantastic event with a competitive grid. It will be nice to share the car with Aleks, Mark and Marco and feel like a racing driver again," said Vowles.
