Canadian Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve has criticized the recent performance of the Italian Ferrari team.
Idman.biz reports that Villeneuve assessed the team's performance in Baku as a failure.
"There was a big announcement about extending Fred Vasseur's contract, then the team fell apart. After Vasseur was assigned elsewhere, the pressure on the team decreased. At least there was some stability before his appointment.
The team's performance has dropped, and Monza was supposed to be a perfect weekend for Ferrari, but it wasn't. Last year the Baku track was fantastic for Leclerc (Charles), but this year it was one of his worst weekends. "Ferrari" is now completely lost and clearly needs leadership," OLBG quotes Villeneuve.
