To celebrate its partnership with the championship and the release of a limited series of chocolate cars, one of the food companies unveiled a full-size chocolate version of a Formula 1 car in Great Britain.
The presentation ceremony took place at Silverstone, the home of British motorsport. The six-meter-high chocolate car was unveiled by former racing driver and current commentator Billy Monger.
The chocolate car is 5 meters long, 2 meters wide, and weighs 350 kg. It took 1254 hours to create under the supervision of chocolate master Jen Lindsey-Clark.
"I've seen a lot of incredible cars at Silverstone, but never one quite as unique as this. We're always told in racing to keep focused, but even the best drivers know it’s impossible to race without taking a break. So I’m pleased to bring this giant chocolate car to the home of British racing to remind people to take a break and prepare for new challenges," said Monger.
