Former team boss of "Toro Rosso/Alfa Tauri" (now "Racing Bulls") Franz Tost has shared his memories of the day he learned about the severe injury of seven-time "Formula 1" champion Michael Schumacher.
İdman.Biz reports that the incident happened exactly 12 years ago, on December 29, 2013.
The Austrian confessed that he initially did not believe the news.
"I just thought, 'How famous is Michael that a skiing accident is making the news?' I wasn't worried because I often went skiing with Michael. He was a very good skier and didn't take risks.
When I learned about the consequences of the accident, I just couldn't believe it. I was shaken and shocked," Tost said.
