Interesting events in the Japanese Grand Prix in Formula 1 continued not only on the track but also in the pit lane after the finish. Audi driver Gabriel Bortoleto faced an unusual incident after the race ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the most tense moments for the Brazilian driver, who finished 13th in the race in Suzuka, were when he got out of his car.
After stopping his car, Bortoleto wanted to jump out of the cockpit. However, the pilot, not seeing the mechanic passing by at that moment, collided with him and fell to the ground. Although the incident escaped the attention of the cameras during the official broadcast, it was later spread on social networks.
Fortunately, neither the young driver nor the team member were injured during this funny "accident."
It should be noted that Bortoleto has not yet been able to score points for Audi in this year's debut season.
