The start of the Japanese Grand Prix, the third stage of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship, has been delayed by 10 minutes.
"Report" informs that this was reported by the championship's press service.
The warm-up lap was scheduled to begin at 9:00 Baku time.
The delay was caused by an accident involving one of the Porsche Cup participants, after which the protective barriers needed to be repaired. The incident occurred at the 12th turn of the track. The driver was not injured.
