Preparations for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 are ongoing.
Idman.biz reports that the installation of two additional stands is planned this year at the Baku City Circuit.
The installation of stands around the Baku City Circuit has already begun. Considering the growing interest in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from both local and foreign fans, as a result of the expansion of the infrastructure, the capacity of the stands will be increased by 1,500 seats, exceeding 20,000.
It should be noted that more than 76,000 fans watched the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 live from the stands over four days.
Temporary restrictions are expected to be imposed on some parts of the Seaside Boulevard in connection with the preparatory work. Residents and guests of the capital are asked to show understanding during this period.
It should be noted that the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 will be held on September 19–21.
