Formula 1: 2026 Sprint Race Calendar Announced

Formula 1 and the FIA have announced the calendar for the sprint races to be held in the 2026 season.

Idman.biz reports that six sprint weekends will be held next season.

The list includes Shanghai, Miami, Montreal, Silverstone, Zandvoort, and Singapore. For the first time, Canada, the Netherlands, and Singapore will host sprint races.

FIA President Mohammed bin Sulayem stated that sprints have already become an integral part of the championship: "This format gives fans a more dynamic fight and extra competition every weekend. We believe that sprints, together with the new technical regulations that will come into force in 2026, will add more color to the calendar."

May 1–3 - USA, Miami

May 22–24 - Canada, Montreal

July 3–5 - Great Britain, Silverstone
