The first air races created as an analogue of "Formula-1" were held at the "UP.Summit" autodrome in Texas, USA.
Idman.Biz, referring to the "Mash na sporte" "Telegram" channel, reports that four pilots participated in the races.
They covered the winding air route with aircraft at a maximum speed of 102 km/h. The length of the route is 3.2 km, and the flight altitude is limited to 50 meters to ensure safety.
According to the organizers, more than 15,000 people watched the races online, and about 2,000 people attended the autodrome. The possibility of holding regular races and creating a separate championship is currently being considered.
