The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has issued a letter of support for Andrea Kimi Antonelli ("Mercedes"), a 19-year-old "Formula 1" debutant, due to the harassment he has been subjected to.
İdman.Biz reports that Antonelli made a mistake at the end of the Qatar Grand Prix, letting championship leader Lando Norris ("McLaren") pass.
"The FIA and its 'Unite Against Cyberbullying' organization condemn violence and harassment in any form. It is important that everyone working in our sport can do so in a safe and respectful environment. Together with Kimi Antonelli, we call on the entire public, both online and offline, to treat drivers, teams, officials, and the entire sporting ecosystem with the respect and compassion they deserve," the FIA said in a statement.
