The "Ferrari" team in Formula 1 has appealed to the International Automobile Federation (FIA) with a request to inspect the car of its rival "Mercedes".
Idman.Biz, referring to the publication "Autoracer", reports that the Italian representative has serious doubts about the front wing of the rival team, especially the operating principle of the flaps during braking. At the Chinese Grand Prix, it was observed that the wing flaps of the front wing were activated in two stages. This may mean a violation of the technical regulations, because according to the rules, the closing time should not exceed 0.4 seconds.
According to "Ferrari", the control sensors record the shutdown already after the first stage, but in fact the process ends later. It is expected that the FIA will conduct a special inspection regarding this issue and make an appropriate decision before the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix.
