Construction work that started in March continues mainly in the pit and team buildings.
"Report" reports that Subhan Manafzade, the construction department manager of Baku City Circuit, said this in a statement to journalists during a media tour in preparation for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix of Formula 1.
He emphasized that there are a number of innovations:
"We have completed 80 percent of the construction part in the area where we are. We plan to start the construction of the entire track in August. This has been reduced from 12 weeks to 6 weeks compared to previous years. We have tried to shorten the time as much as possible so as not to interfere with the movement of transport. In total, between 1500-1700 people from different fields are involved."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held between September 19-21.
