The "Cadillac" team has announced its lineup that will participate in the Formula 1 championship for the first time in 2026.
Idman.biz reports that the team has officially announced the signing of experienced drivers, multiple Grand Prix winners Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas.
Together they have participated in 527 Grand Prix and won 16 victories. This makes them one of the most experienced duos in the championship.
It should be noted that Sergio Perez is a two-time winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He won in Baku in 2021 and 2023 as part of the "Red Bull Honda" team. Valtteri Bottas won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2019 as part of the "Mercedes" team.
"Cadillac" will become the 11th official participant in the Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on September 24-26, 2026.
