Brazilian Kick Sauber driver Gabriel Bortoleto spoke about his performance in the 2025 season.
Idman.Biz reports that Bortoleto believes that two-time Formula 1 champion and Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso is proud of him.
"It's great to have your work appreciated by the people on the ground, the team and the fans. Sometimes you are limited by the equipment at your disposal and good performances don't always show. It is important for the team to know about my work and effort.
I talk to Alonso often. He gives a lot of feedback on my performance on the track. And I think he's proud of me. I'm happy about that," Bortoleto said on the official Formula 1 website.
Bortoleto is 19th in the drivers' standings with 19 points. He is only ahead of Franco Colapinto and Jack Doohan in the championship.
