"Volunteer registration for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix started in April."
Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Ali Khalilov, a workforce specialist at Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
He stated that a record number of volunteers applied for the race: "More than thirty-one thousand candidates registered in just 48 hours. This was a record result for both our program and the overall volunteer movement. After the registration process was completed, the results were reviewed by our professional team. After that, the interview stage started. Three weeks have passed since the start of the interview stage. More than 7,000 candidates have already participated in the interview stage. The process will continue in the coming weeks. Training will then begin."
It should be noted that the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on September 19-21.
