Ayrton Senna's helmet, which he used in the 1992 British, Hungarian and Belgian Grands Prix, has been sold at auction for £500,000 (approximately $670,000).
Sports.Biz reports this according to "RacingNews365".
Before the auction, the organizers valued the lot at £80,000-£120,000, but the final price was more than four times higher than the predicted upper limit. However, the lot sold at auction is not the most expensive helmet of the legendary Brazilian athlete.
In April 2025, Senna's helmet, which he wore in the 1992 Belgian Grand Prix and used to help Erik Comas after a crash, was sold for £720,000 (approximately $964,800).
