Renowned Spanish journalist Antonio Lobato has reported that a leadership change may occur within the British "Aston Martin" team.
"Aston Martin" is currently without a leader. I know they are looking for a new team principal," Lobato said.
According to İdman.Biz, team owner Lawrence Stroll announced a restructuring in November 2025:
Adrian Newey, who joined the team in March 2025, began serving as managing technical partner and team principal.
Andy Cowell, who has held the position since January 2025, was promoted to chief strategy officer, responsible for liaison with "Honda", "Aramco" and "Valvoline".
If Lobato's information is confirmed, it would mean that Stroll is looking for a third leader for the team in a year and a half.
