British automaker "Aston Martin" is facing financial difficulties.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to GrandPrix.
It is reported that the British manufacturer has suffered losses exceeding $490 million and will cut its workforce by up to 20% this year, citing US trade tariffs and a sharp decline in sales in China.
As previously reported, manager Lance Stroll recently transferred $50 million from the road car division to secure long-term brand rights for the "Formula 1" team.
This has allowed Stroll to protect the racing team in the event that the automotive division faces deeper instability.
