The "Aston Martin" Formula 1 team's press service has released a statement regarding reserve drivers for the 2026 season.
İdman.Biz reports that 33-year-old Belgian driver Stoffel Vandoorne will retain his test, simulator, and reserve driver roles, while the British team's third driver spot has been entrusted to 20-year-old Briton Jack Crawford.
Vandoorne will race a Peugeot hypercar in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2026.
Crawford has raced in Formula 2 for three seasons and finished second in 2025 with "DAMS", 36 points ahead of Italian Leonardo Fornaroli ("Invicta"). The American driver's place for 2026 is unknown.
