American driver Robbie Brewer died during a "Sportsman" race in North Carolina.
"Report" reports, citing "CBS Sports", that the 53-year-old pilot's car crashed into the barrier at high speed on a turn.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the accident was a heart attack the driver suffered behind the wheel. Rescuers had to cut parts of the car body to get R. Brewer out. He was taken to the hospital, but it was not possible to save his life.
It should be noted that this is the fourth case in the Bowman Gray track where the race was organized, when the pilot died as a result of a heart attack.
