During the Baku race of "Formula 1", "Alpine" pilots Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly decided to get acquainted with Azerbaijani cuisine and prepared their own qutabs with their own hands.
According to "Report", a place was allocated on the Azerbaijan Grand Prix venue near the food court where drivers can not only taste local dishes, but also witness the preparation process. Videos of Colapinto and Gasly making qutabs quickly gained popularity on social media and received numerous comments from fans around the world.
Franco Colapinto took the task very seriously: "he was excited, carefully prepared the qutabs and did not hide his joy after a successful attempt, even applauding himself". Pierre Gasly took a humorous approach to the culinary experience: "his baking was not in the traditional form at all, and the pilot jokingly reacted to this with "Who said it should be round?".
After the food was cooked, the drivers treated their colleagues and guests to qutab. According to the reaction of Argentine journalist Juan Fossaroli, the drivers' food was surprisingly tasty.
