Azerbaijani chess player Vugar Rasulov took second place at the international tournament held in Ankara, Turkey.
Idman.biz reports that he scored 6.5 points, defeating his compatriot Ravan Aliyev in the final, but fell behind Georgian Giga Quparadze.
Aliyev finished the competition in the top 16 with 5 points.
Rasulov finished his performance undefeated, winning four games and drawing five.
It should be noted that 55 chess players from nine countries participated in the tournament.
