The "Chess Stars 5.0" tournament will start tomorrow in Moscow.
İdman.biz reports that Azerbaijani Grandmaster Teymur Rajabov will also participate in the rapid chess format competition.
Sergey Karjakin, Vladislav Artemiev (both Russia), Raunak Sadhwani (India), Amin Tabatabaei (Iran), Hou Yifan (China), Bibisara Asaubaeva (Kazakhstan), Alexandra Goryachkina, Ekaterina Lagno and Valentina Gunina (all Russia) will also participate in the tournament.
Rapid competitions will be held on June 26-28, and blitz competitions on June 29-30.
The tournament's prize fund is 15 million rubles (approximately 315 thousand manats).
This year, the main venue of the tournament will be the "Azerbaijan" pavilion at "VDNKh" in Moscow.
