The "Sheki Open" international chess festival continues in Sheki.
Idman.biz reports that 260 chess players from 9 countries are participating in the A and B tournaments.
After five rounds in the main competition, 13-year-old Khagan Ahmad is the leader with 4.5 points. He is half a point ahead of his closest followers.
"Sheki Open" is a stage of the "Chess Tour Azerbaijan", which is held at the initiative of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
The competition will be held in nine rounds according to the Swiss system and will end on June 25.
