Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Mahir Mammadov, who was re-elected president of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, in a statement to journalists.
He commented on the removal of Seymur Talibov from the Executive Committee: "Seymur Talibov has made significant contributions to Azerbaijani chess. We specifically noted his productive work at the reporting and election conference. Seymur muellim is not here today for valid reasons. I express my gratitude to him for his services. A new staff has been formed. Unfortunately, Seymur muellim will no longer continue his work in the federation".
