The opening ceremony of the "Lankaran Open" festival, organized within the framework of the "Chess Tour Azerbaijan" project initiated by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF), has been held.
The ACF press service told "Report" about this.
4 countries are represented in the tournament. 38 chess players compete in group A, and 140 in group B.
It should be noted that "Lankaran Open" will be held in nine rounds according to the Swiss system and will end on July 13. A rapid and blitz tournament will also be organized within the framework of the festival.
