Azerbaijani chess player Namig Guliyev will participate in the French Open Championship.
Idman.biz reports that the competition will be held in the rapid chess format in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.
Participants will test their strength in a nine-round rapid tournament on June 14, and in a 13-round blitz competition the next day.
It should be noted that a total of 608 chess players will participate in the championship.
