The order of games for Azerbaijani chess players has been determined in the first stage of the World Cup, which will be held in Batumi.
Idman.biz reports that Govhar Beydullayeva will start the matches with Anahita Zahedifar (Iran), and Ulviyya Fataliyeva will start with Jiling Zhang (Australia) with white pieces.
In the games on July 6, they will have the right to make the first move, and the next day they will play with black pieces.
Khanim Balajayeva will start the matches with Elnaz Kaliahmet (Kazakhstan), and Gulnar Mammadova with Yunshan Li (China) with black pieces, and the next day they will play with white pieces.
Participants are given three days for each stage: first, two games of classic chess with a color change, then, if necessary, a tie-break.
It should be noted that a total of 107 chess players will participate in the World Cup, who will compete not only for the championship, but also for three tickets to the Candidates Tournament.
