Our chess player Eltaj Safarli maintains his fifth position in the "International Whitsun" tournament held in Munich, Germany. Sport24.az reports that he defeated Indian Savit Shri in the sixth round.
This is the fourth victory for our intellectual athlete in the tournament. Safarli has scored 5 points and is half a point behind the leader, Norwegian Elham Amar.
It should be noted that 152 chess players are competing for the title of champion in Munich.
