The "Chess Tour Azerbaijan", organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, will continue with the "Shamakhi Open" festival. According to Sport24.az, the competition will start on June 27 in Shamakhi.
It was announced that 27 chess players will compete in group A, and 83 chess players will compete in group B.
Aydın Suleymanli will be the rating favorite of the main tournament. Ukrainian Vitali Bernadski, who took second place in the "Sheki Open" tournament, will also perform in Shamakhi.
It should be noted that the "Shamakhi Open" will consist of nine rounds according to the Swiss system and will end on July 3.
