Azerbaijani chess player took 22nd place in the UAE

The "Sharjah Masters" international chess tournament is being held in the UAE.

Idman.biz reports that three Azerbaijani grandmasters – Ahmad Ahmadzade, Mahammad Muradli, and Read Samadov – are participating in the main A tournament.

So far, the best result among them is shown by Ahmadzade – after three rounds, he scored two points and is in 22nd place. Muradli and Samadov each scored one point.

The rating favorite of the tournament is Nodirbek Abdusattorov (Uzbekistan).
