Our chess player Azer Mirzoyev took 9th place at the "Orjan Lindroth Memorial" held in Nassau, Bahamas. Sport24.az reports that he finished the tournament with a victory by defeating US representative Alisa Melekhina in the final stage.
Mirzoyev managed to enter the top "ten" in the tournament with five points.
Our representative won four of the matches he played in the tournament, drew twice, and lost three times.
Note that the American Brendan Jacobson took first place with 6.5 points.
