Our boxers have won 2 gold and 3 bronze medals in Almaty

An international boxing tournament dedicated to the memory of Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Idman.biz reports that members of the Azerbaijani national team, participating in the competition as part of the Army Sports Club, won 5 medals.

Our boxers Subhan Mammadov (48 kg) defeated Nurgisa Turabekov (Kazakhstan) in the final, and Magsud Khasmetov (63.5 kg) defeated Nurlibek Usmanov (Kazakhstan) to take first place.

Tural Sariyev (51 kg), Ilgar Salahov (67 kg) and Sarkhan Aliyev (71 kg) won bronze medals.
