The charges against the kickboxers arrested after the incident with Fuad Zeynalov, a major of the State Border Service (SBS) and an Honored Coach, have been aggravated.
İdman.biz reports with reference to "Qafqazinfo" that as a result of the evidence collected during the preliminary investigation, a serious criminal composition was determined in the actions of the accused persons - Elchin Huseynov, Elnur Hamidov and Musa Ahmadov.
In addition to Article 221.2.1 (hooliganism committed by a group of persons or repeatedly) of the Criminal Code, they were charged with a new charge under a more serious article of the same code - 126.2.4 (deliberately causing serious harm to health out of hooliganism by a method dangerous to the public). If the athletes are found guilty, they may be imprisoned for 6 to 11 years.

A court hearing on the case will begin in the coming days.
It should be noted that in January of this year, during an incident in the Khatai district, a group of athletes attacked Fuad Zeynalov, an Honored Kickboxing Coach, and the person with him. As a result of the incident, the latter was reported to have been seriously injured.
