Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg) won a bronze medal at the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
According to Idman.biz, in the match for third place, Novruzov confidently defeated Korean Kum Hyuk Kim, defeating his opponent with a score of 6:0. This is the first medal of Azerbaijani wrestlers in the current World Cup.
In addition, Arseniy Cioyev in the 86 kg weight category will face Frenchman Rahim Magomedov for a bronze medal. Among heavyweights (125 kg), Giorgi Meshvili will wrestle Iranian Amir Hossein Zare for a gold medal in the final.
