Allahverdiyev, Abdullazade and Tsokayev defeated their opponents and advanced to the 1/4 final stage. Zafar Aliyev stopped fighting after losing in the second match.
Today, two more athletes of the Azerbaijani national team - Kanan Heybatov (70 kg) and Khetaq Karsanov (125 kg) will enter the final match and fight for a gold medal.

At the same time, in the evening, the Azerbaijani team will have a chance to win two "gold" medals. Kanan Heybatov (70 kg) and Khetaq Karsanov (125 kg) will test their strength in the final matches of their weight categories.
Currently, the Azerbaijani national team has four medals: two gold and two bronze. Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ziya Babashov (63 kg) became world champions. Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) and Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) took third places.
