According to Idman.Biz, Yusif Dursunov (125 kg), one of the Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers, also advanced to the final on the second day of the competition.
Dursunov defeated Belarusian Stsiapan Mandrik 3:2 in the semi-final.
Our wrestler Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) also advanced to the final of the European Championship by defeating Russian Mustafagadzhi Malachdibirova 6:4 in the semi-final.
Vasif Khudiyev (86 kg), who represents our country, lost to Russian Bozigit Islamgereyev 2:3 in the semi-final and will wrestle for the bronze medal tomorrow.

Jeyhun Allahverdiyev defeated Bashir Alili, a representative of North Macedonia, 12:5 in the semi-final.
Aganazar Novruzov, who wrestles in the 74 kg, lost to Frenchman Seyfulla Itayev 2:7 in the semi-final and will wrestle for the bronze medal tomorrow.

It was reported that our wrestler Yusif Dursunov, who represents our country in the 125 kg weight category, won a full victory (10:0) in the match with Romanian Brian Samuel Techereanu and advanced to the 1/4 finals. In the next stage, Y.Dursunov defeated Armenian wrestler Khachatur Khachatryan with a score of 9:3 and advanced to the semi-finals.
In addition, Ramik Heybatov, who represents our country in the 70 kg weight category, won a convincing victory over his Georgian opponent in the consolation match. He was superior to Goga Otinashvili with a score of 6:2. Heybatov will wrestle for a bronze medal in the evening session.
Aganazar Novruzov, who competes in the 74 kg weight category, started the competition with a victory.
