The U-17 European Wrestling Championship continues in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
Idman.biz reports that the first medalists among freestyle wrestlers have been determined on the next day of the continental championship.
Two of our wrestlers are competing for gold, and two are competing for bronze. Three of them managed to take a place on the podium.

Ravan Hasanzade faced Artak Agabekyan (Armenia) in the final. Our wrestler, who won with a score of 4:0, won the title of European champion.

Ruslan Alizade faced Makhach Abdullayev (UWW) in the decisive match. In a tense match, the Azerbaijani wrestler won with a score of 3:2 and took the highest step of the podium.

Tunar Nasibov tested his strength with Turkish Ismail Mertkollu for the bronze medal. Our wrestler, who lost 2:4, finished the championship without a medal.

Hakim Tagiyev wrestled with Gyeorgyi Juhasz (Hungary) for bronze. Our wrestler, who won with a score of 2:0, took 3rd place.
