The reason for the 48-month disqualification of Azerbaijani wrestler Sabir Jafarov by the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has been revealed.
According to İdman.Biz, Sabir Jafarov used prohibited drugs after surgery and did not inform the national team doctors about it.
However, the 24-year-old athlete had to submit the names of the drugs used to AMADA. As a result, undeclared and prohibited substances were found in his blood.
It should be noted that the disqualification period is calculated from September 1, 2025 and will end on August 31, 2029. During this period, the athlete will not be able to participate in official competitions held under the auspices of international and national federations.
