He commented on being elected a member of the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee: "I have been officially elected a member of the Athletes' Commission. I will try to fulfill this responsible and at the same time honorable position with dignity. I will do my best to convey the voice of athletes, protect their rights and contribute to the creation of a healthier sports environment. Thank you to everyone who trusts me."
It should be noted that Rustam Orujov (judo) will act as the chairman of the commission for the period of 2025-2028, Farida Azizova (taekwondo) as the deputy chairman, Leyla Aliyeva (judo), Irada Ashumova (shooting), Haji Aliyev (wrestling), Nazim Babayev (athletics), Rafiq Huseynov (wrestling), Fatima Alkaremova (swimming), Rasul Chunayev (wrestling) will serve as members of the commission.
