"I am satisfied with the performance of each wrestler in the competition."
This was stated by Taleh Israfilov, the head coach of the U-17 Greco-Roman wrestling national team, in an interview with the Western Bureau of "Report".
He also emphasized that the teams of the countries they competed against were strong:
"Among them, the Uzbekistan team had 4 wrestlers who were world champions. In these competitions, we won a total of 6 medals, including 3 gold. I am confident that our athletes will continue to achieve success in international competitions in the future and raise our flag."
The head coach said that it is a matter of pride that such competitions are organized in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani wrestlers won 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition held at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex within the framework of the III CIS Games.
