Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Farid Sadigli (55 kg) won a silver medal at the U-23 European Championships held in Zrenjanin, Serbia.
According to the correspondent of "Report" sent to the competition, he lost to Russian Alibek Amirov in the final.
It should be noted that this is the 7th silver medal won by Azerbaijani representatives at the U-23 European Championships. Previously, Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Vasif Baghirov (57 kg), Sabuhi Amiraslanov (79 kg), Yusif Dursunov (125 kg), Gultakin Shirinova (55 kg) and Ruzanna Mammadova won silver medals.

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) qualified for the final of the U-23 European Championships held in Zrenjanin, Serbia.
"Report" informs that he defeated Belarusian Illia Valeuski 8:2 in the semi-final.
It should be noted that the European Championship will end on March 15.
